Yelling At Kenny Chesney From A Moving Mini-Van In Boston - SHUT UP KENNY.

I love Kenny Chesney. 

    So I was in Boston for work and we had the afternoon off and started with a tour of Fenway Park in Boston, and then moved onto the Boston Commons, and along the way hit about half a dozen bars. I had about 6-8 drinks and my friends wanted to hit up dinner in the nice part of town. My friends had their eyes on some $30 dollar Lobster Rolls that were "to die for..." 

   Well, that place was freakin' PACK so we went next door and got some $20 lobster rolls. Everything on the menu was like "fish eyes" or might as well have been. I wasn't eating any of that so I got more drinks. 

   We left and got inside our mini van and I am feeling like I am 10 foot tall and bullet proof I am taking up the entire back row of our mini van with my feet stretched out on each side seat in the middle. Then I see it KENNY CHESNEY... and I can NOT STOP MYSELF. He looked exactly like the photo below same style cowboy hat and everything. Probably because that WAS KENNY CHESNEY...



   I roll down the window and let out a super loud HEEEEEYYYYYYYY KENNNNNYYYYYYYYYYY to the man with the cowboy hat walking in the nice part of Boston. He turns and looks and I yell again HEEEEYYYYY KENNNNNNYYYYYY. At this point my friends in the front are saying "Dude, shut up and just sit back there, and if Kenny comes over here to kick your ass its all you" 

    I tell them dude you don't understand that is Kenny Chesney and I wasn't just saying this to be a jerk the dude looked like Kenny and there are not many cowboys in Boston. They drove on and Kenny kept walking. I went home had Subway 12 inch Steak and Pepperjack sub and went to sleep. 

My buddy came over to me at work the next day with his smart phone "Look who's playing the stadium tonight and tomorrow" he said. It was Kenny Chesney and I yelled at him from a moving van. Hey KENNNNNNY, sorry about that chief.

I will forever remember Nick. He lived up the street from me and the first time I met him he cruised by my 8-10 year old self and popped his skateboard up on two wheels. The year was probably 1994. The Shacks and Ditches - Part One

When I was a kid my mom and her sister bought houses in the same neighborhood in St. Peters, MO. My aunt called one day and asked if I wanted to play in the ditches with her kids. I said yes and before I knew it I was up at her house in her backyard where the rainwater had carved 8-10 foot ditches in the fresh soil behind the build. Some were impossibly tall and others were fun to climb down and explore. It was a amazing time during that stage of life where things are so big and life is so full of possibility. We climbed for hours on end and came inside dirtier each time we went out. It was about a few months after playing in the ditches that one of my cousins found a tree fort in the woods. It was simple and awesome all at the same time. It was about 10 foot in the front and 15 foot in the back off the ground. 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie For $12.00

August 31, 1997  I went to a out of town convention with my dad and during the day I was able to attend a Baseball Card show.  I remember in detail the date. While I sat at the Hardees, or Mcdonalds we had for breakfast. The front page of the USA Today that used to be sold by Mcdonalds at the counter read "Princess Diana DEAD". It was pretty shocking because she was such a big star in the 90's.  The hottest card of 97' was a Griffey Jr. 1989 Upper Deck Rookie card. Problem was it was a $100 card. I remember there was a person there with packs of 89' upper deck for $4 and I bought 3 packs.   In my very last pack there it was a Ken Griffey Jr. 1989 Upper Deck Rookie in 10/10 condition for $12.00
